A message from the Leadership and Nominating Committee

The Leadership and Nominating Committee (LNC) has spent the past six months speaking with International Officers, volunteers, and staff and meeting frequently as a committee. We invited opportunities for the LNC to hear your insights and perspectives to develop the clearest picture possible of fraternity operations, volunteer interests and feedback. Our committee met numerous times over the past months to consider candidate placements and form teams that will serve the Fraternity in premier ways in the next biennium.

As always, our goal was to find the right person for the right role at the right time. We also aim to have well-balanced and diverse leadership teams. As the Fraternity works toward our Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), so too does the work of the Leadership and Nominating Committee. We met with the DEI Advisory Committee to ensure our practices suit the needs of all our members. The women on the slate have committed to upholding Pi Beta Phi’s Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. We believe them to be the strongest candidates, in both their individual roles and together on their leadership teams.

These recommendations are based on their volunteer and professional expertise, the diversity of their thoughts and experiences and the feedback we heard from all of you. We look forward to working with all our members, and our future leadership team, on the work that lies ahead as we continue the momentum to build a stronger, more diverse and more inclusive premier organization for women.

IDEAL Slate & Leadership Nominations 2021-2023

Through November 30, 2020, Pi Beta Phi's Leadership and Nominating Committee (LNC) is seeking input into the Fraternity's slating process for Grand Council and Director positions with terms beginning in July 2021. Completing the form below helps ensure your voice is heard during the slating process.

Any Pi Beta Phi member who has served above the local level (i.e. in an elected or Grand Council appointed position) is eligible to serve on Grand Council or in a Director position. An officer may serve no more than three terms in any one position on Grand Council nor a total of more than 10 years on Grand Council. A Director may serve no more than three consecutive terms in any one office nor a total of more than 10 consecutive years as a Director.

Please note: You do not have to complete this form in its entirety. And, you may list more than one name for each office. Nominations will be accepted through November 30, 2020.
